Passenger Slams Air India For Delaying Assistance To Find Her Lost Wallet Carrying Cash & Gold; Airline Responds

Nothing feels more frightening than losing valuable belongings in public places, especially somewhere as bustling as an airport. Finding any lost items is next to impossible unless the locations are under CCTV surveillance. Recently, a passenger flying with Air India lost her wallet. She was carrying expensive things inside her wallet. Unfortunately, she lost it somehow and asked the airline to assist her in tracing it back. Here’s what happened next.

Passenger Ranted About Air India On X

Taking to the X platform, Sakshi (@Sakshi432897) tagged the airline and shared her experience of contacting the staff and requesting help.

According to the X post, Sakshi lost her wallet at the Delhi airport. The bag had cash and gold inside it. Tagging the Twitter handle of the airport, she asked why Delhi airport has cameras in it. “I know for you guys this is just another case but for me, it’s my hard-earned money”, added the Air India passenger.

Sakshi further made an X post asking what if her wallet carrying cash and gold got lost on the Air India flight. “Who will check that”, she asked. To get assistance from the concerned authorities, she contacted different people in different departments. Someone responded by saying that she would need to file “in Delhi police and see the footage.”

Air India responded to the passenger’s query and requested her to “reach out to the Lost & Found department of Delhi airport for assistance regarding the same.” Also, the airline stated that customers are solely responsible for the carriage of Hand Baggage.
