IndiGo is one of India’s leading airlines preferred by crores of travellers. From domestic connectivity to travelling to international cities, the airline has great flight networks. Though they are mostly praised for their great services, some passengers often take to social media platforms to address the issues and inconveniences they face. This time, a passenger pointed out the IndiGo staff’s rude behaviour and slammed the airline.
A Passenger Slammed IndiGo & Complained About Poor Experiences
Taking to LinkedIn, Shoaib Khan highlighted major problems that he had to experience during his journey from Bhopal. Though he has been a frequent flyer with with airline for the past 5-6 years, his recent trip left him wondering if he wishes to travel with the airline again. As shared in the post, the passenger booked a last-minute ticket paying ₹10k. As his father was hospitalised, he had to travel to Bengaluru at the earliest.
When it comes to travelling to the Karnataka capital from Bhopal, he usually prefers the IndiGo airline “due to the limited direct flight options.” But, he is now unsure if he wants to fly with them again. To catch his flight, he reached the Bhopal airport around 40 minutes before departure. But he faced a few significant delays as he had to wait in long queues. In addition, there were no clear announcements at the airport.
While he was running late due to these problems, he interacted with disrespectful staff. Shoaib shared, “The staff was unhelpful and, unfortunately, quite rude.” Despite his urgency to catch the aircraft, no staff assisted him in accommodating his request to board without baggage. Ranting further about the incident, he added, “I was disappointed with the behaviour of Saad Tanweer, the assistant manager of customer service (BHOPAL), who treated me poorly and seemed dismissive of my concerns.”
He Paid ₹12.6K For One Ticket
Following this incident, he booked an alternative flight and had to spend an additional cost of ₹2.5K. Overall, he paid ₹12.6K for this flight ticket. The staff’s lack of responsiveness frustrated him and lead to an unpleasant impression of IndiGo’s commitment to customer service.
