Travelling cautiously is our biggest priority at the moment. The number of stealing incidents is on an alarming rise and we often read people sharing similar experiences on social media. Pickpocketing valuables in crowded trains, roads, and busy places has become a common unfortunate episode unfolding everywhere. This time, a group of passengers beat up a pickpocket for allegedly stealing phones and wallets.

Ghar Ke Kalesh (@gharkekalesh) shared the clip of a group of people thrashing the guy for allegedly stealing belongings from others.

A major kalesh reported on Indian Railways as passengers caught a guy taking away belongings from other people. According to the X post, this thief was stealing mobiles and wallets. Later, other passengers onboard the moving train caught the guy during all these unethical activities.

These passengers served justice to the stealing incident right at that moment at that location itself. Though there is no information available on the exact location, people were seen beating up the thief on a moving train. The guy was shirtless when others were beating him quite harshly with a shoe.

Though he pleaded for mercy, no one paid attention to his begging. Also, there were a few co-passengers who were caught laughing on the camera.

Shared on August 1, the X post is going viral on the platform. It has garnered more than 930K views till now with over 120 reactions. Most Netizens are in support of passengers beating up the man on the train and calling it justice. Some have raised concerns about ongoing pickpocketing incidents on trains and other crowded places.

A comment read, “Acche se khatirdari ho aise logo ki.” Someone wrote, “Make sure to give him a good lesson so he’ll even think twice about buying a mobile phone and wallet in the future with his money.” A concerned Netizen commented, “Beware of pickpockets because they are everywhere.” Here’s how they are responding to the viral video.
