All About The New Gorakhpur To Patna Vande Bharat

A new Vande Bharat train is set to connect two major cities in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar – Gorakhpur and Patna. This train service aims to improve passenger experience for both regular and occasional travellers. The Gorakhpur-Patna Vande Bharat will cover a distance of around 500 kilometres. It will begin its journey in Gorakhpur, make a halt at Muzaffarpur, and finally end in Patna.

According to the Times of India, this route has been planned by the East Central Railway. Final approval and clearances from the Northeast Railway are now awaited. Railway authorities believe that this new train will offer a smoother, faster, and more comfortable experience to the passengers.

Schedule, Train Timing & Stops

The schedule of this train has been thoughtfully designed to ensure passenger convenience. If you are an early riser and plan to make the most of your day with an early morning commute, then this one is perfect for you. The Gorakhpur-Patna Vande Bharat is scheduled to depart Gorakhpur at 6 AM. It will stop at Muzaffarpur at around 10 AM and finally arrive in Patna by 11 AM.

The train will stop at the following stations during its 5-hour journey –

• Bettiah
• Narkatiaganj
• Bapudham Motihari
• Muzaffarpur
• Hajipur

Expected Fare For The Journey

As per reports, the expected fare from Patna to Gorakhpur on this new Vande Bharat route has been set at ₹600. The tickets from Muzaffarpur to Gorakhpur will cost ₹480. The new, high-speed train will provide a smooth and efficient alternative to traditional, slower travel options on this route. Passengers can look forward to reclining seats, onboard catering, and air-conditioned cabins on this Vande Bharat train.
