With this new system, you will not have to visit the consulate in person, making the whole process a lot more convenient for Indians.
The e-visa system is now accessible across the nation. After it was successfully tested in August 2023, the e-visa system became fully operational at the Philippine Embassy in Delhi, along with Honorary consulates in Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai on October 28, 2024.
As per DFA, before the e-Visa system for the Philippines was officially launched, it was tested between August and October 2023. During this time, over 7,000 applications were processed successfully with this new system.
