UP Government To Develop Vindhyachal & Chitrakoot
According to the Times of India, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently issued a directive which states that five well-known pilgrim spots, including Vindhyachal and Chitrakoot, will be revamped. The state government shall upgrade these famous sites like Naimisharanya, Shakumbari Devi, Vidhyanchal, and Shukratirtha with enhanced facilities for the convenience of the visitors. Moreover, crores will be spent to develop these sites as well. The premises of the temples will be redeveloped and renovated with proper parking facilities and roads. Also, these temple premises will be equipped with strict security measures and adequate sanitation facilities.

Road & Parking Lot Developments At Pilgrim Sites In UP To Promote Tourism
The UP government will work on developing Shakumbhari Devi at Saharanpur, Shukra Tirtha at Muzaffarnagar, Lord Ram’s Taposthali (the meditation site), Naimisharanya and Chitrakoot in Awadh, along with Shakti Peetha at Vindhyachal. These developments are done in a bid to preserve these holy places and also promote tourism.
