Tourists Visiting Ayodhya Can Go For Guided Tours & Heritage Walks Soon

Ayodhya, the birthplace of Hindu God Lord Rama, has been in the news for its gradual transformation from an ancient city to a spiritual tourism destination. From the construction of a Lord Ram International Airport to the development of a new railway station, a look-alike of Ram Mandir,  Ayodhya is becoming a haven for the devotees of Lord Rama. Travellers can soon get the chance to glide on River Saryu in a Ramayan Cruise. The Ayodhya government also plan to start religious-cultural trips and heritage walks ranging from 10 km to 170 km from 2 hours to half a day.

Ayodhya To Have Heritage Walks & Guided Tours

Tourists visiting Ayodhya can soon go on 6 religious-cultural trips and heritage walks. When these trips start, visitors must book the packages of their choice on phone or online. Tour guides will lead the walks describing the religious, historic and cultural significance of the monuments. The trips would take place on package provided vehicles. Ayodhya district magistrate Anuj Kumar Jha, “We have designed tour packages for Ayodhya. These trips and walks are under Ayodhya’s short-term tourism development plan while there are many long-term projects too. It will make things easier for the visitors who will have an option to go for short- and long- duration trips or a combination of them as per the time they have. They will be launched soon.” Another, spiritual destination you can visit Varanasi. 

Ramayan Cruise Service To Take Devotees On A Tour River Saryu In Ayodhya

A luxurious, yet spiritual Ramayan Cruise Tour awaits the devotees of Lord Rama in Ayodhya. Union Minister for Ports and Shipping Mansukh Mandaviya revealed to Deccan Herald on December 1, “‘Ramayan Cruise Tour’ on the Saryu river in Ayodhya will be launched soon. It will be the first-ever luxury cruise service on the Saryu river in Ayodhya.” The government desires to help devotees get up-close with iconic Ghats by the River Saryu in this luxury cruise. The minister further added that this cruise shall give breathtaking experiences to devotees through this unique spiritual journey.

According to Deccan Herald, a statement from the Shipping Ministry reads “The cruise will be equipped with all luxury comfort and facilities along with all essential safety and security features at par with the global standard. The interiors of the cruise and the boarding point will be based on the theme of Ramcharitmanas. The fully air-conditioned 80-seater cruise will have large glass windows for experiencing the scenic beauty of the Ghats. The cruise will be equipped with kitchen and pantry facilities for the comfort of the tourists. The cruise contains bio-toilets and hybrid engines system for the ‘zero effect’ on the environment.”

80-Seater Ramayan Cruise To Show Film On Lord Ram & Have Selfie Points Inspired By Ramayan
