Prime Minister Narendra Modi has some busy days ahead. For the next three days, he’ll be visiting three states to launch several big infrastructure projects and participate in public programmes. He’ll be visiting Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra during this visit. PM Modi’s visit starts in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on February 27. Anticipating the heavy traffic movement, the Thiruvananthapuram Police has issued traffic advisories. Read on to know more about the routes, traffic diversions, and all the details to keep in mind during the PM’s visit to Kerala.

Traffic Advisories For Thiruvananthapuram During PM Modi’s Visit

Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Kerala visit, the Thiruvananthapuram Police has imposed traffic regulations for ease of movement for everyone. PM Modi will be in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday and will inaugurate three significant space infrastructure projects. These projects have an estimated worth of ₹1,800 crore. These projects will be launched at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) in Thiruvananthapuram.

Keeping the PM’s visit in mind, the Police have imposed several traffic regulations in Thiruvananthapuram. These regulations will be in place in the capital city from 5 AM to 2 PM on Tuesday and 11 AM to 2 PM on Wednesday. As for restrictions around the city, they have been placed in several locations. There will be traffic restrictions around the airport, Shanghumukham. All Saints, Kochuveli. Madhavapuram, South Thumba. Pattoor, Asan Square, Palayam, Martyrs’ Corner, Spencer Junction, and Pulimoodu Road on Tuesday.

If you’re travelling to the domestic airport in the city, then it’s best to take the Venpalavattom-Chakkai flyover-Enchakkal-Kallumoodu-Ponnara bridge-Valiyathura route. Furthermore, if you’re heading to the international airport, you should take the Venpalavattom, Chakka fly-over, and the Ananthapuri Hospital service road at Enchakkal.

What PM’s Three-State Visit Schedule Looks Like

For his three-state visit, PM Modi will be visiting Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra. He’ll start his visit in Kerala on February 27, then head to Tamil Nadu on February 28 morning before arriving in Maharashtra in the afternoon. He’ll be attending public programmes and also inaugurating several development projects in each of these states.

The Thiruvananthapuram Police issued several other traffic diversions and restrictions in the city for Tuesday and Wednesday. So, make sure you check them before heading out.
