India’s government has been steadfast in launching unique initiatives for Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. As India celebrates 75 years of independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again, introduced a unique way to pay tribute to India’s freedom fighters. And this time, the tribute can be given by one and all. Launching the ‘Digital Jyot’, PM Modi on Sunday took to social media to share glimpses of the Digital Jyot lit at Central Park in Delhi.

What Is Digital Jyot?

Up until now, the Centre has been creating special ways to commemorate India’s 75 years of freedom. In the Digital Jyot endeavour too, every tribute or message sent by the citizens will only strengthen the light from the Digital Jyot. Through this campaign, people will be able to express their feelings towards the martyrs of our country. Take a look at what our PM Modi had to share about this!

How To Send In Your Tribute?

Keen on sending in a tribute for the country’s martyrs via Digital Jyot? This is how you can do it! First, head to the website, of Digital Jyot, find the ‘Pay Tribute’ button on your left and click on it. You will have to click a picture, enter your details, select the message and then pay the tribute. More than 3 lakh people have paid their tribute via the digital jyot campaign.

And don’t forget that your tribute will appear on a LED screen at Connaught Place’s Central Park. Further, it will also light the digital flame in the sky.

The recording of your tribute message will also be shared on your WhatsApp and Email ID.
