Kerala is all set to get its very first Vande Bharat Express. The flagging off of this Vande Bharat will of course be done by PM Narendra Modi. The inauguration of this particular route of Vande Bharat Express will take place on the 25th of April. The test run of the all-new semi-high-speed train was recently completed it was a grand success. This test run took place on the 17th of April.

This particular Vande Bharat will be Kerala’s first-ever. The rake for this Vande Bharat Express arrived in Kerala before its maiden voyage. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to flag off this Vande Bharat Express towards the end of this month.
During the test run of this Vande Bharat Express, this semi-high-speed train was able to complete its journey from the Thiruvananthapuram station to the Kannur station in just 7 hours and 20 minutes.
This train will be the 15th Vande Bharat Express of India and will be the 5th one to be inaugurated in the month of April alone. Apart from Kerala, the PM has inaugurated Vande Bharat for routes like Secunderabad to Tirupati, Chennai to Coimbatore, Bhopal to New Delhi, and Ajmer to Delhi Cantt.

Will Also Lay The Founding Stone For Thiruvananthapuram Station Renovation
The Prime Minister of our country will also inaugurate the renovation of the Thiruvananthapuram railway station which has been long overdue. According to reports, the new railway station will be built on a model of an airport in order to optimise efficiency and travel experience for the passengers.
Vande Bharat Express is the all-new semi-high-speed model of the train which has been manufactured and assembled in India. It is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including but not limited to automatic doors, air conditioning, hygienic and nutritious food, etc.
It is also faster than regular trains which will help passengers reach their destination faster and save time.
