Prime Minister Narendra Modi will likely have dinner with members of the Delhi Police this week. The dinner is in regard to their service in organising G20 meetings and maintaining security.

According to sources within the force, Sanjay Arora, the commissioner of the Delhi Police, has requested a list of employees from each district, ranging from constables to inspectors, who performed exceptionally well during the summit last weekend. The list is anticipated to contain 450 people, who, together with Mr. Arora, would probably have supper with the prime minister at Bharat Mandapam, which served as the location of the G20 Summit.

Sanjay Arora also gave certain Delhi Police officers the Commissioner of Police’s Special Commendation disc and certificate earlier this week in recognition of their assistance with the G20 Summit.

The announcement was made in an order dated September 11 that stated that each participant’s shared sense of pride and ownership in the mega arrangement’s overall goals was the only thing that could have enabled the smooth, professional, and exact execution of the massive G20 arrangement. The entire Delhi Police rank and file participated in it, gave their commitment, and contributed.

Both before and during the summit, which witnessed the greatest gathering of world leaders in the nation in recent memory, the Delhi Police had a challenging assignment on their hands. Code words were also used by the Special Protection Group and Delhi Police to refer to the hotels.
