Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Haryana section of the grand Dwarka Expressway on March 11, 2024. His itinerary for Monday includes inaugurating many significant projects, laying the foundation stones for some, and also dedicating several national highways to the nation. Ahead of his visit to the city, Delhi Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory for continuing smooth movement on the roads.

PM Modi Will Inaugurate The Haryana Section Of Dwarka Expressway Today

PM Narendra Modi took to social media to share pictures of the infrastructural marvel soon to be unveiled. During his visit to Gurugram, Haryana on Monday, he will inaugurate the marvellous 19 km long Haryana Section of the 8-lane Dwarka Expressway. This project has been constructed at a budget of about ₹4,100 crore. Calling it “an important day for connectivity across India”, he stated about dedicating many National Highways constructed in different Indian states to the nation.

PM Modi will dedicate many of these National Highway projects to the entire nation and lay the foundation stones for other projects at about 12 PM today. Overall, there are 112 National Highways from different parts of India. All these major projects are worth around one lakh crore.

According to the Press release of the Press Information Bureau, along with the Haryana Section of the Dwarka Expressway, PM Modi will also inaugurate:

  • 9.6 km long 6-lane Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II), Package 3 from the Nangloi-Najafgarh Road to the Sector 24 Dwarka section
  • The Kiratpur – Nerchowk section of NH-21 in Himachal Pradesh
  • 3 packages of Lucknow Ring Road in Uttar Pradesh
  • NH16’s Anandapuram – Pendurthi – Anakapalli section in Andhra Pradesh
  • The Dobaspet – Heskote section in Karnataka

Foundation Stones Will Be Laid For:

During today’s visit, PM Modi will lay the foundation stones for over 40 important National Highway projects built in several parts of India. Some of these projects are:

  • 6 packages of the Belgaum – Hungund – Raichur section of National Highway 748A in Karnataka
  • 14 packages of the Bengaluru – Kadappa – Vijayawada Expressway built in Andhra Pradesh
  • 2 packages of the Amritsar – Bathinda corridor in Punjab
  • 3 packages of the Shamli – Ambala Highway in Haryana

Each of these projects will play a massive role in enhancing road transportation and boosting the National Highway network in the country.
