Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is in the Maharashtrian city of Nashik. There, he visited a number of important places from the legendary Kalaram Temple to the Swami Vivekananda Statue. January 12 also happens to be the birth anniversary of the great saint Swami Vivekananda. Hence, he also visited the Swami Vivekananda Statue. PM Modi is visiting the Indian state of Maharashtra. One of the biggest reasons for his visit is the inauguration of the MTHL or Mumbai Trans Harbour Link. However, before visiting Mumbai, he spent some time in Nashik.

He shared how loud and warm his welcome in the city was. There he visited several legendary places. First, he visited the Shree Kalaram Temple in Nashik. He shared pictures where he was busy concentrating on the hymns dedicated to Lord Ram.

Then, he visited Ramkund where he partook in a puja. He even said that the atmosphere at the temple as well as Ramkund was very serene and it truly made him feel spiritual. He even addressed a National Youth Festival while he was there.

Other Important Details About His Visit There

Since it was the Jayanti or birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, he also visited a statue of the great saint.
