PM Narendra Modi visited the Gurudwara Patna Sahib today and he had the most “humbling experience” there. Dressed in a Sikh turban, the Prime Minister first sought blessings at the gurdwara and then assisted in the langar kitchen there as well. He was seen making rotis and even serving langar to the devotees in the gurdwara. He took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his experience and even reflected on the values of Sikhism in his post.

PM Narendra Modi prayed and performed ‘seva’ at Takht Sri Patna Sahib also known as Gurudwara Patna Sahib today. He posted about his visit on his X (formerly Twitter) account. In his caption, he talked about the values of Sikhism and how honoured he was to perform langar seva there. He said it was a “very humbling and special experience.”
In a series of pictures shared PM Modi can be seen making rotis, stirring the massive pot where the sabzi is being cooked, and also serving the other devotees in the gurdwara. He even tied a turban before visiting the Gurudwara Patna Sahib.

Before assisting the kitchen for langar, Narendra Modi offered prayers at the Gurudwara Patna Sahib. Takht Sri Patna Sahib is one of the five takhts of the Sikhs and is quite famous among the devotees. It is an important sight as it is the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs. After seeking blessing, the PM said he “felt truly blessed to experience divinity, serenity, and the rich history of this sacred place” during his visit. In other visuals that emerged online, PM Modi can be seen praying inside the gurdwara, bowing his head in front of the Guru Granth Sahib, and shaking hands with a small kid inside the Gurudwara premises.
