Just like other cities, Pune is on the way to developing its infrastructure. With the new metro lines, the life of Punekars is becoming more convenient than before. With the launch of new Pune Metro Rail lines, the authorities have started a bus service for daily travellers. The Metro Feeder Bus service was officially launched on Wednesday at the Civil Court Metro Station in Shivaji Nagar by the Chairman and Managing Director of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML).

The new extended lines of the Pune Metro from Phugewadi station to Civil Court station and Garware College station to Ruby Hall-Clinic station were officially opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday, August 1.
PM Modi announced the beginning of Metro service on the two completed lines of Pune Metro Phase-I while on a day trip to Pune, Maharashtra. In March 2022, these two Pune Metro lines were made partially operational. Now, the project is fully operating.
The two new lines that PM Modi officially opened are the ones that connect Garware College station to the Ruby Hall-Clinic station and Phugewadi station to the Civil Court station. The additional portions will link key locations in Pune. They will include the municipal building, Shivaji Nagar, the civil court, the RTO, and the railway station.

Garware College, Deccan Gymkhana, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Udyan, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Civil Court, Mangalwar Peth, Pune Railway Station, and Ruby Hall Clinic are the seven stops along the 4.7 km route between them. There are four new stations along the 6.9-kilometre Pimpri Chinchwad to Shivajinagar Court line. They include Phugewadi, Dapodi, Bopodi, Shivaji Nagar and Civil Court.

The opening of metro feeder services was made possible by these portions that were completed. This aimed to offer a seamless commute for all residents. And lessen their daily travel difficulties to and from metro stations.
All residents are encouraged to make use of this recently launched bus service. It provides three dedicated routes from Vanaz to Shivajinagar Civil Court Metro Station, assuring quick and easy commuting. In order to further improve the connectivity choices for users along this route, four more buses have been provided for the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to reach Shivajinagar Civil Court Metro Station.

From Vanaz to Shivajinagar Civil Court Room Metro Station, Metro Shuttle 12, 13 and 14 will operate every 60 minutes. Whereas from PCMC to Shivajinagar Civil Court Metro Station, Metro Shuttle 31, 32, 35 and 37.
