Yes, it has recognised airlines from the Middle East for their stellar services at the annual Airlines Excellence Awards. Qatar Airways was awarded the Best Catering Award for 2024 while Emirates was recognised with the Best In-flight Entertainment Award 2024. Here’s all about these winnings.

Emirates was recently awarded the Best In-Flight Entertainment Award 2024 at the Airline Excellence Awards. This is just another feather that has been added to the hat of the multi-award-winning ICE system. Organised by Airline Ratings, this winning was hardly surprising as Emirates was also one of the first airlines to introduce seat-back videos for Economy Class passengers. This was nearly 30 years ago. Today, it has 6500 channels, which makes it a clear winner for its best in-flight entertainment.

Qatar Airways has also won great recognition, as it has been awarded the Best Catering Award for 2024. Yes, their presentation and delivery of meals have been regarded as outstanding with the airline having no less than 18 special meal options. In fact, for first and Business Class passengers there is also an option to pre-select one meal, so that they can have the meal of their choice on board. Similarly, for Economy Class passengers there is a choice of three main course options, which just makes flying a great experience for people.
