Raffles Doha has also become the third organisation to be rated 5 stars in the Forbes Travel Guide 2026 Star Awards. Doha was not the only place where recognition would take place. A renowned brand’s hotel in Dubai also made it to the guide. Five-Star ratings do not become easy, and these hotels have proved it right.
Raffles Doha Wins Five-Star Rating Once Again
The hotel has maintained the top rank as per a report by press release, and this is an incredible achievement. The hotel initially received the honour in the first year of its operations. The award ranks the property as one of the best luxury hotels in 100 countries assessed in the 68th Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards.
A Landmark In Lusail
Raffles Doha is located in the breathtaking Katara Towers, which take up the skyline of Lusail. The architecture in itself is head-turning.
The hotel will be the first all-suite hotel in Qatar. Each of the suites has a vaulted ceiling, individual balconies and expansive views of the Arabian Gulf. The design of the atrium is of a high level above the guests in a kaleidoscopic ornament.
Then there is the service. The famous Raffles Butler provides guests with accuracy and discretion.
Food And Cultures In The Middle
Raffles Doha is not only based on rooms but on experience.
It has a library lounge called Blue Cigar, which contains over 7,000 rare books and first editions. It does not look like a corner of a hotel but rather like a retreat of the members of the club.
Eating is also a major element. The hotel also accommodates ALBA, which is a Michelin-starred Italian concept and has soon become one of the most discussed tables in Qatar. In the name of wellness, the property launched the first Raffles Spa in the country, which presents high-performance treatments by Dr Burgener, Switzerland.

InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay won a Forbes Travel Guide Recommended in the 2026 list. Recommended status is not a Five-Star status, but it does have some weight. Forbes Travel Guide is the only world rating system that is purely based on luxury hospitality.
The building is located in the very centre of Business Bay, and the suites are meant to be used in the extended accommodation and elite city lifestyle. All the houses have complete cooking facilities, which is perfect in the sense that a guest would not have to compromise the convenience of comfort.
