Railways Shares Photo Of Revamped Vadnagar Station In PM Modi’s Hometown

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in his home state, Gujarat a few days back. He received a hearty welcome from the people of Gujarat, even took part in a number of programmes and addressed large gatherings. After attending the Khadi Utsav, he later met his mother, Hiraba Modi at her residence in Raisan. Recently, PM Modi’s hometown, Vadnagar railway station’s photograph was tweeted by the Indian Railways. The railway stations in our country which were not in a good condition are being revamped. And, Vadnagar is one of them. The tweet showed a before and after photograph of PM’s hometown.

PM Modi’s Hometown – Vadnagar Station Revamped

The vadnagar station looks all glamped up after the renovation. Apart from being PM Modi’s hometown, it is said that this particular railway station was where PM Modi’s father sold tea. PM Modi too, as a child sold tea in the Vadnagar railway station. This fact itself, makes it a significant spot for PM Modi. A lot of people from Vadnagar were super pleased with the renovation work. Other Indian Stations Which Were Revamped

Railway stations in India are being revamped and renovated, under the Adarsh scheme to provide better experiences to passengers who travel via trains.  Apart from Faridabad, the other significant railway stations which will be revamped and given a world-class look include, Gujarat’s Somnath, the 100-year old Delhi Cantonment Railways station and Punjab’s Ludhiana railway station.
