RAK To Attempt For A Record Breaking NYE Fireworks

Ras Al Khaimah is all set to host a 12-minute long New Year’s Eve firework show at Al Marjan Island aiming to break a world record. 

What Is It? 

UAE is known for its dazzling New Year’s Eve celebration across the country, with breathtaking fireworks to the best concerts, it has become one of the most visited destinations for New Years across the globe. Similarly, after the announcement of the return of Burj Khalifa fireworks, Ras Al Khaimah has announced an attempt for a Guinness World Record. The breathtaking fireworks are going to last 12 minutes long on New Year’s Eve at Al Marjan Island. The entry to the event is absolutely free.

What’s In It? 

Apart from the fireworks, the destination will host ice cream salons, lemonade corners, food trucks, musical band performances and activities for kids as well. Guests will be welcomed by mime artists and stilt walkers, The event activities will begin from 5:00 pm with a firework display at sharp 12:00 am to bring in 2019. They have dedicated three main viewing points at Al Marjan Island, including Al Hamra Village, Al Shohadah Street and Al Wasl Street with special parking areas which include 27,000 parking spaces.
