The ‘Yaariyan’ actor joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for this amazing episode to chat about food, upcoming projects, her defence family background and more. Rakul Preet Singh’s Fitness Routine And Healthy Food Habits

After having healthy conversations about the human body and food, we asked the beautiful Rakul about her fitness routine and food habits. She reflected on how this comes down to the mindset of a person. She is very passionate about a maintaining healthy lifestyle.

The actor revealed, “I want to be healthy, so bringing in an hour of workout, at least five to six times a week,” is followed by her. She loves to work out so much that she would even train on the seventh day! However, her trainer strictly avoids it as her body needs to rest. 

Our guest is adamant about some movement for her body. So she sweetly asks her trainer if yoga or walking is applicable as she doesn’t consider these two activities as workouts! Talk about commitment towards a healthy lifestyle and passion for workouts, we are pleased, Rakul.

Apart from physical activity, Rakul strictly avoids consuming particular food items as she believes that gut health is important to live a sustainable and healthy life. She said, “There is nothing that food cannot correct,” in terms of diseases and gut issues. She listed the things she strictly avoids in her diet as gluten, deep-fried foods and sugar. Rakul avoids those like the plague!

People Will Kill Her For This!

On hearing Rakul speak about her no-sugar diet, Kamiya was curious about any consumption of brown sugar. Turns out, we (and others) have been living under a rock as the actor revealed, “Brown (sugar) is the biggest fad. It is the biggest scam; brown rice, brown sugar are the biggest scams on the planet. People will kill me for saying this!”

She elaborated that those so-called “brown” food items are just different in colour with the same amount of calories. They need another layer of cleaning to become white! This is mind-boggling and with all those marketing gimmicks, people are fooled easily! We won’t be going for the brown sugar or rice now, all thanks to Rakul Preet Singh.
