It was about 1 PM on Friday when the mysterious explosion happened. About 4 people have already been injured following the sudden blast. According to a report by India Today, three of the four injured people are staff members and one is a customer. One of the four injured is a woman. All of them have been shifted to a hospital for treatment, according to a report by The Indian Express.
Right after the shocking explosion, the exact cause behind the accident was not known. As per the initial reports, looks like something put inside a bag turned out to be the primary cause of the blast at the Rameshwaram Cafe in Whitefield. That object is believed to have exploded leading to the terrible chaos.

Hundreds of people are seen to be standing outside the famous cafe. A major crowd is visible in the videos making rounds on social media platforms. An official of the fire station stated about getting a call and hearing about a cylinder blast at the Rameshwaram Cafe, according to a report by The Times of India. The police have reached the accident spot already.

Just spoke to Rameshwaram Café founder Sri Nagaraj about the blast in his restaurant.
He informed me that the blast occurred because of a bag that was left by a customer and not any cylinder explosion. One of their employees is injured.
