It’s a well-known fact that the UAE passport is ranked quite high. With a visa-free score of 185, the passport of the nation has risen to the ninth rank on the Henley Passport Index. This is big news as the UAE has made it to the top 10 on this list for the first time since the Henley Passport Index’s inception back in 2006. Here’s all about it.

Ever since the Henley Passport Index was released, UAE has climbed from its 62nd rank to the ninth position. Yes, this is a passport index by Henley & Partners that ranks the passports, according to the visa-free score and the current score of the UAE, is 185. For the first time, the nation has made it to the top 10 with an addition of an impressive 152 destinations. It’s worth mentioning that the result is born out of deliberate and concerted efforts by the Emirati government. In fact, Singapore has topped the list by taking the first rank!

Out of 227 travel destinations around the world, the holders of the Singaporean Passport get visa-free access to 195 destinations, which includes several renowned countries.
