One such community is ‘r/travel’ meant for sharing everything related to travel. A user asked the question to coffee lovers which place has the best coffee in the world.
His post states that some nations have strong opinions about which of their coffees are the greatest, and they do it with bias. Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Turkey, Italy, France, Spain, Indonesia, and Costa Rica are among them. He also admitted that there might be some countries he missed. Further, he asked everyone where they had the best coffee in the world.
However, there was no mention of India even though it is one of the major coffee producers. India’s coffee production is concentrated in the hilly regions of its southern states, primarily in Karnataka (71%), Kerala (21%), and Tamil Nadu. Indian coffee is reputedly the best coffee in the world, produced shade-grown instead of in direct sunshine.
Approximately 250,000 people cultivate coffee across the country, with small producers accounting for 98% of the total. In 2009, only 4.5% of the world’s coffee was produced in India. About seventy per cent of India’s coffee exports are going to the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Greece, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Russia, Spain, Belgium, and Slovenia.

The best coffee experiences in the world are in Indonesia (coffee is served with hot coal), Ethiopia (coffee ceremony) and Singapore (hawker centre iced coffee in a plastic bag). He also noted that the worst coffee is the instant one which is available almost everywhere in the world.
