According to the Managing Director and Noida Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari, this campaign will benefit both passengers and the authorities. This is a great opportunity to boost the sale of smart cards and their usage. Also, it will promote the Digital India Campaign, a government initiative. Further, they will be setting up special camps to issue these cards. Interestingly, the State Bank Of India will collaborate with NMRC to organise this camp.

The smart cards provided by Noida Metro Rail Corporation will also have SBI’s branding ‘CITY1’. These ₹100 worth of cards will be given for free for ten days at the stations.
