However, what if we told you that you will soon be able to do so without breaking the bank? Well, that is true, as SalamAir, a low-cost airline from Oman will be introducing flights from UAE to Kerala this October. Take a look!

If you have also been planning to travel to the Indian state of Kerala, then you are in for some brilliant news! We say this because now you will be able to travel from Fujairah to Kozhikode via SalamAir, which is a low-cost carrier from Oman. Yes, this Omani airline is introducing new flights from UAE to India and is also offering a promotional fare of just AED361 for this route on its website, according to a report by the Khaleej Times. As it happens, the service will be a relief for people who want to skip past exorbitant fares while travelling, thereby being a blessing, especially for Indian expats. Not to mention, the service will be via Muscat and will be available on Mondays and Wednesdays starting from October 2, which is Monday.

These Flights will Also Include Stopovers In Muscatt

It should be noted that the flight will depart from Fujairah Airport at 7:50 PM and arrive at Kozhikode at 3:20 AM. The duration of the flight will be six hours, which will also include the layover in Muscat. The next flight will depart from Fujairah at 10:20 AM with a layover of 11 hours and 10 minutes at Muscat and the total duration of this flight will be 15 hours 30 minutes. So, if you choose to travel by this flight, you will also get to spend some time in Muscat and you can do so by applying for an E-visa online.

It should be noted that the flight will depart at 4:20 AM from Kozhikode and will arrive at Fujairah at 9:50 AM. This journey will also include a layover at Muscat for 2 hours and 45 minutes and the total journey will be of seven hours. Moreover, the second flight will depart from Kozhikode at 4:20 AM with a total journey time being 16 hours 30 minutes as the flight will land at Fujairah at 7:20 PM. This also includes a stopover in Muscat for 12 hours and 15 minutes.

This development comes after Salam Air recently started four weekly flights from Fujairah to the cities of Riyadh, Phuket, Bangkok, Trivandrum, Kuala Lumpur, Salalah, Karachi, Jaipur, Colombo, Sialkot, and Lucknow, back in July.
