Sarabhai Actor & Producer JD Majethia Climbs Everest Base Camp At 57; Says It Made Him Cry

JD Majethia is a familiar face in every Indian household. He is famous for the role of Himanshu in the wildly popular ‘Khichdi’ and for being the producer of the iconic Indian sitcom, ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.’ He recently achieved an amazing milestone in his life and he is very proud of it, as  he should be. In a recent interview, he revealed all about his experience that left him in tears of joy.

In an interview with ETimes, he revealed that the experience of climbing the base camp of Everest was utterly indescribable. So much so that he cried when he finished it. According to the beloved actor, it was arguably the most memorable trip in his life.

He even took to his Instagram account and shared his experience on the popular social media platform. He posted several short videos of himself on the memorable journey. In one such video, he mentioned how if one truly puts their mind to something, they can manage to accomplish anything. “Impossible is i m possible,” he writes in the video.

In another video, he was seen thanking his Wagle Ki Duniya team. He talked about how the show and the stories it narrates keep on inspiring him. He even dedicated the climb to the show. It shows that regardless of age, one can truly achieve whatever they desire to.

The actor described the experience of reaching the base camp as life-changing. He mentioned that he faced many struggles and challenges including questionable health, but managed to accomplish what he set out to accomplish.

The fact that an actor who is 57 years old managed to accomplish such a feat inspired many people. His comment section was flocked by fans, supporters, as well as well-wishers who thought that his accomplishment, given his age, was remarkable.
