1. International Fair & Museum of the Prophet’s Biography & Islamic Civilization Inaugurates New Sections

Recently, the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization had inaugurated new sections in Rabat. The inauguration happened at its international branch in the Moroccan capital. And this was undertaken under the supervision of the Muslim World League. In fact, the Saudi Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco was also present for this event.

2. Delay On Key Dubai Road

Dubai RTA has warned motorists of traffic delays on the Emirates Road due to maintenance work. Yes, the delay is expected to be in place till August 31, Wednesday on the route between the intersection of Hatta Road and Al Ain Road towards Abu Dhabi. This has created a delay on this route since Friday, July 26 and it’s due to the rehabilitation and maintenance work on the street. 

3. Saudi Arabia Submits Bid To Host FIFA World Cup 2034

Submitted to the Fédération Internationale de Football Association, the bid was submitted by a delegation of notable Saudi ministers. This is a significant achievement thanks to the King Salman Bin Abdul aziz empowerment and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman’s support.

4. Hamad International Airport Welcomes 25.9 M Passengers

Hamad International Airport has witnessed an impressive 25% growth in just the first half of 2024. Yes, about 25.9 million passengers were welcomed by the airport in just the first half, which is quite impressive. Not to mention, aircraft movement has also grown by 9% and so has the number of bags handled. The operations have also increased by 12% as compared to the same period for 2023.

5. UAE Cancels 4 Haj Operators’ Licence

According to reports, the licenses of four operators in the UAE have been cancelled by the
General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowment, and Zakat. Reported on Tuesday, authorities announced that 19 other facilities were also fined for violating laws. This decision has been based on the pilgrim’s complaint during the last season. It should be noted that Hajj operators should adhere to contract design programs and the quality of the services must be upheld as promised as well.
