1. Al-Oudah Mosque In Diriyah Undergoes Comprehensive Restoration

The Al-Oudah Mosque in Diriyah, as revealed by the SPA, has undergone a comprehensive restoration. This is a part of the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Project for the Development of Historical Mosques. It has undergone a comprehensive restoration to preserve the authentic energy architecture identity. Located on the western bank of Wadi Hanifah, it is truly the spiritual heartbeat of the neighbourhood. Transitioning from mud brick structures to modern facilities, the landmark destination balances both traditions and sustainability.

2. Prince Mohammad bin Salman Visits Prophet’s Mosque

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, visited the Prophet’s Mosque. This happened on February 20,th and he performed prayers over there. The Crown Prince was received at the Prophet’s Mosque by the President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais. He was also received by the Minister of Hajj & Umrah, a number of imams and preachers.

3. A 4000 Capacity Plaza Opens At Uptown Dubai

Uptown Dubai has unveiled a massive events Plaza District. This plaza, which is developed by the DMCC spends 21,000 m². It has been designed to host corporate events, conferences, concerts, and large-scale public gatherings. With a capacity to hold 4,000 people at a time, the venue physically connects Uptown Dubai. The new venue incorporates an integrated staging lighting system and digital display infrastructure.

4. Dubai Municipality Give Steps For Healthier Ramadan

The Dubai Municipality took to its account on X to offer tips to enjoy a healthier Ramadan. From storing food properly and keeping it fresh to washing hands and fruits before cooking, the tips are basic but important. They have also mentioned how one must limit sugar, eat more vegetables and drink water. Additionally, they mention how the meat must be cooked thoroughly so that it reaches every part.

5. Riyadh Air Opens Hafawa Lounge

Hafawa Lounge by Riyadh Air has finally opened its doors. Looking absolutely stellar, this beautiful lounge has been luxuriously designed and features modern interiors. Complete with sofas and chairs, the lounge is perfect for people to relax before their flight.

6. Ras Al Khaimah Launches 24/7 Food Safety Campaign

Launched for the month of Ramadan, Ras Al Khaimah has stepped up its inspection of food establishments. Launching around the clock, monitoring campaigns and awareness programmes, as revealed by the Gulf News. They aim to ensure public health remains good during the fasting month. As revealed by the Department of Municipality, it has intensified the field inspections so that there is a surety of compliance with approved health and safety standards.

7. Sharjah Cracks Down On Beggars

Sharjah Police has warned against begging, under the slogan, ‘Begging is a Crime, and Giving is a Responsibility’. Through this campaign, they plan to make the community aware of begging and how one must promote responsible charitable organisations. Through the campaign, the aim is to raise public awareness about risks posed by begging and similar negative practices.

8. Passengers Stranded Over Delayed Muscat-New Delhi Flight

As revealed in a report of the Times of Oman, more than 100 passengers were stranded after an Air India Express flight from Muscat to New Delhi was delayed for over five hours. Air India Express later confirmed this incident to the Gulf News, which mentions that flight IX164 was scheduled to depart at 11:30 PM on February 17th. However, the flight AI-9234, which was also operated by the airline, had been rescheduled due to operational reasons. So, the new departure time kept getting delayed, which frustrated travellers. The flight finally took off at 3:50 AM.

9. UAE Weather Forecast For Ramadan

The skies in the UAE are expected to be calm and largely fair stretch of weather. The weather would be warm enough for comfortable evenings, with their being ease in the hours of fasting. The NCM confirms could build up during the evening on the weekend.

10. Al Dhafra Launches Subsidised Food Programme

A wide-ranging programmes have been introduced for subsidised food items during Ramadan. As mentioned by the Gulf News, over 800 discounted products could ease household costs. These would be made available at reduced prices and is a part of the UAE’s ‘Year of the Family’.
