beOnd To Launch New Direct Flights To London, Paris & 3 More Cities With Red Sea

Frequent flyers, this one’s for you. beOnd, the Maldivian premium leisure airline known for lie-flat seats and zero economy-class chaos, is bringing its signature style a lot closer to Europe. beOnd Airlines has signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 to launch direct flights connecting five major European cities to Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea International Airport (RSI), starting this winter.

Which Cities Will Beond Fly Direct To The Red Sea?

The new routes will link RSI with London, Paris, Milan, Munich and Zurich. Paris, London and Zurich will operate three times weekly, while Milan and Munich will fly twice weekly, subject to government approvals. Exact launch dates haven’t been confirmed, so this is one to bookmark.

Why This Route Matters For Red Sea Tourism

The Red Sea destination already counts 11 luxury hotels open and welcoming guests, with another six on the way at AMAALA’s Triple Bay. Direct European access removes one of the biggest friction points for long-haul luxury travellers who’d otherwise need a layover in Riyadh or Jeddah to reach the coast. It also lines up neatly with Saudi Arabia’s broader aviation ambitions, including Riyadh Air’s own expansion into new international markets.
