If you’re someone who relies on a piping hot or even a child cup of coffee to start your day, then chances are you already know of Barn’s. After all, this Saudi Arabian coffee shop has many outlets that are thronged by coffeeholics for their dose of a caffeine fix, before they can begin their day or even during the lunch hour. And now, this famous chain planning to expand to Southeast countries, starting with Malaysia.

Barn’s To Open 20+ Outlets In Malaysia?

Barn’s is a famous Saudi Arabia coffee brand that needs absolutely no introductions. Boasting more than 600 outlets, this popular coffee hotspot is one of the best places for people to get their daily caffeine fix. Now, with plans to expand globally, the chain has revealed that it plans to open 25 outlets in Malaysia. Yes, in a report by the Arab News, it was mentioned that Premier Fine Foods, which is a division of Harta Group in Malaysia, has signed an MoU with Al-Amjaad Establishment, which is the parent company of Barn’s. Yes, according to this, they will be expanding this coffee chain to not just Malaysia, but other Southeast Asian countries as well.

Will They Be Expanding To Other Countries As Well?

At this point it should be mentioned, the plan is to initially open 25 coffee shops in Kuala Lumpur. After this, they will gradually be scaling operations to other countries, including Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam. For this purpose, Premier Fine Foods will be using its existing network in the market to achieve this goal. Not to mention, the menu will be tailored according to the local tastes! The report also revealed that the aim is to open 300 outlets in the next 10 years! All of this happens to be a part of its global strategy to expand its coffee shops, and have 1000 outlets, by 2030.

On a concluding note, it should be mentioned that it’s not just the South Asian countries that they have on the cards, but they also plan to expand to London, for reaching the European markets.
