The Team Travelled To Mumbai With Vistara
Team India landed in Delhi on Thursday morning and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After meeting the PM and staying in Delhi for some time, the Rohit Sharma-led squad boarded Vistara’s special charter flight UK 1845 to reach Mumbai. The one-of-a-kind flight honoured two of the brightest names and strongest pillars of Indian cricket; captain Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli. The aircraft was named after the Indian T20 World Cup openers’ jersey numbers.
Vistara staff welcomed the players gracefully with a special announcement by the pilot and cabin crew. The airline also celebrated India’s victory with a cake-cutting ceremony. Cricketers received personalised handwritten cards, special baggage tags, and themed meals on this journey to Mumbai.
