Who can Travel To Seychelles?
When it comes to travelling to Seychelles, at present, the Indian island nation is only allowing vaccinated travellers to enter. One has to provide documentation proof of receiving both the doses of the covid-19 vaccine. The only visitors who cannot enter Seychelles, for now, are the ones from South Africa and Brazil. Visitors who have been in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh in the last 14 days before travelling to Seychelles cannot enter the country.
What are the entry requirements?
For entering the island, vaccinated travellers will have to present a negative covid test, taken no more than 72 hours before the arrival.
What are the visa rules?
One doesn’t need a visa to visit Seychelles, but all visitors have to apply for an entry permit through the Health Travel Authorisation platform at Seychelle’s website. This application is quite important, and visitors will not be allowed to board a flight if they don’t have this.
What are the quarantine rules?
Vaccinated travellers don’t have to follow any quarantine rules in Seychelles. They have to show their certificate and vaccine document on arrival, and they are good to go. Also, all visitors must have valid travel health insurance to cover potential COVID-19 related costs (isolation, quarantine, and treatment).
What are the other rules that travellers need to follow?
Despite being vaccinated, travellers will have to follow all the rules in place in the country. It includes the wearing of faces masks and social distancing in public. There’s also an 11 PM to 4 Am curfew in Seychelles at present, and those flouting these rules will have to pay a significant fine.

The country is only a four-and-a-half-hour flight away from the UAE. There are weekly Air Seychelles flights from the UAE, and fares for the same start at AED 1,260. UAE’s national carrier Etihad also operates flight to Mahe Airport on Fridays, Saturdays and Tuesday. Tickets for the same start at AED 3,515. Whereas Emirates has a daily flight service with fares starting from AED 3,775.
Are Hotels Open?
