Sharjah Safari Will Temporarily Close Down For Summer

No one has ever done such a good job of recreating an animal’s native environment in an urban setting. But you won’t be able to enjoy this space for a while. Sharjah Safari will close its door for visitors during summer break. The world’s largest safari park outside of Africa will welcome its guest back during September. They might announce the exact re-opening date in the coming days.

The huge animal attraction nestles in Al Bridi Nature Reserve in the city of Al Dhaid. The Sharjah park encompasses an area of eight square kilometres with around 120 animals and around 10,000 African trees.
Bridi, the first African female giraffe will also be available for visitors to meet. Bridi’s family arrived in Sharjah in May 2017 from South Africa.

Observe various rare African animals, including the black rhinoceros. In August of last year, Wuhaida, the first female southern white rhino, was born at Sharjah Safari. Wuhaida was born as a result of the Safari’s African native species breeding programme. This program is a result of funding from the United Nations.

Dubai Safari Has Also Shut Its Doors For Summer

The much-loved Dubai safari is shutting its doors close once again this year. Yes, you read that right! The safari park will close its doors for summer. Although no information is available on the exact date, the park’s website has put up an announcement about the reopening. The park will reopen in September as per the tweet. The Dubai Safari Park will soon open doors to animal enthusiasts- an announcement on the park’s website mentions.The adventure park is almost ready with its new makeover. We also hear the park has additional green areas and shades for guests to relax and has also welcomed more animal babies during the shut period. Besides, a few animal shows have also been in the making.
