Sharjah has set up new rules for passengers flying through its international airport. The Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Committee in Sharjah announced a set of rules, which are in line with the authority’s efforts to preserve public health and limit the spread of covid-19. As per the new guidelines, Sharjah airport will now require all its passengers to have a negative PCR test certificate taken not more than 96 hours before arrival or departure. It is only for passengers flying via Sharjah. Passengers flying to Sharjah and Abu Dhabi don’t require approval before.

Guidelines For Passengers Travelling Via Sharjah International Airport
Sharjah is slowly opening up and is now welcome tourists and visitors from other countries keeping all the safety conditions in mind. There are some guidelines that travellers need to follow. All travellers must have international health insurance and a negative PCR test report conducted not more than four days before their date of travel. They will have to show these at the time of entry. They will have to undergo another PCR test upon arrival.

The visitors will also have to fill a health declaration and hand it over to the responsible authorities at the airport. They will have to self-quarantine at their hotel or place of residence until the results of the PCR test arrive.

Guidelines For UAE Citizens Travelling Abroad From Sharjah
In terms of travelling, UAE citizens are allowed to travel via the emirate while keeping all the travel guidelines and procedures in place. They will have to undergo a PCR test, not earlier than 96 hours before the date of travel to the destinations that require it. They will have to have international health insurance when travelling abroad and undergo PCR test upon arrival/return at Sharjah.
