Dubai RTA in support of Sheikh Hamdan, the crown prince of Dubai, has outlined plans to eliminate emissions from public transportation in the emirate by 2050.

The focus of the key plan is to reduce carbon pollution by 8 million tonnes, saving Dh3 billion. The eco-sustainable idea fits in with Dubai’s efforts to establish itself as a global leader in green and sustainable development.

RTA will hasten the deployment of EV and hydrocarbon cars into its fleets of public buses, cabs, limos, and other automobiles. Along with recycling waste, the RTA will also upgrade the infrastructure and increase the usage of renewable power in housing and other structures.
