In an utterly shocking incident, condoms, gutka and stones were found in samosas served in the canteen of an automobile company in Pune’s Pimpri Chinchwad. Five people including three business rivals have been booked for this atrocious act, stated a police official on Monday. Read on to learn more about this shocking incident.

According to a report by Firstpost, the police revealed that out of the five people booked, two were workers of a subcontracting firm who were asked to supply the samosas to the automobile company. Three were partners of another such firm who were reprimanded and removed for adulteration, earlier. The three partners allegedly planted the two workers to ensure the firm that got the catering contract would get defamed.

The police stated to India Today that Catalyst Service Solutions Pvt Ltd was responsible for providing food and meals to the automobile firm’s canteen. Furthermore, he said that the firm had given a contract to another subcontracting firm named Manohar Enterprises to provide samosas. However, on Saturday, some automobile firm employees were shocked to find condoms, stones and even gutka in the samosas.

The Catering Company Was Removed From Contract Earlier For Same Reason

Manohar Enterprises’s staffers were questioned about the horrific incident. On investigation, it was found out that two workers, Firoz Shaikh and Vicky Shaikh had allegedly stuffed the samosas with stones, gutka and condoms. The Chikhli police station official threw light on this matter.

Moreover, he said that a case has been registered under IPC section 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 328 (causing hurt by means of poison. The two accused men told the police that they were employees of SRA Enterprises. They were sent by its partners to Manohar Enterprises to adulterate the samosas supplied by SRA Enterprises.

Earlier, the enterprise was removed from the contract after a bandage was found in a snack supplied. The partners, identified as Rahim Shaikh, Azhar Shaikh, and Majhar Shaikh wanted to ruin the market reputation of Manohar Enterprises. While one person has been arrested, further investigation is underway.
