The history of Saahas Foundation goes back to 2016. An acid attack survivor, Daulat Bi Khan started this NGO to empower other strong women like her. The NGO raised money for this supermarket by conducting a fundraiser amid this pandemic. Daulat Bi Khan stated to ANI “During the COVID-19 pandemic, we were not able to raise any funds so we had organised a fundraiser. From the money raised, I thought why should a victim be dependent on anybody. During this pandemic, two things were selling – medicines and grocery.
