The Dubai RTA announced that now installed on the Dubai-Hatta Road. Yes, as announced on X by the RTA, the gates have been designed to ensure that there is a smoother traffic flow. Not to mention, it also prevents stray animals from crossing onto the road, as a result, reducing the risk of accidents.
2. Drones To Monitor High-Rise Buildings
In Dubai, drones will be monitoring high-rise buildings in Jumeirah Lake Towers and Uptown Dubai communities. Enhancing emergency response capabilities and of course remote monitoring in high-rise environments, these zones will be beneficial. For instance, if there is a case of fire in a high-rise building, the new initiative will boost the capability of the Dubai Multi-commodities Centre and Dubai Police so that they can deal with the situation quickly.

The 26th edition of Intersec has begun at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Happening till January 16, this is on top international event which focuses on security, safety, and fire protection. With 1200+ exhibitors, 50% International experts and 11 country pavilions, this edition expects more than 52,000 visitors.
4. Air Arabia Celebrates Inaugurate Flights To Oujda And Nador

Air Arabia recently took to X account to announce that it is celebrating to inaugural flights. This connects Oujda and Nador to Rabat, in Morocco. Enhancing the air connectivity within the country, these new routes are bound to boost travel between the two cities.
5. MBRSC To Launch MBZ-SAT Tonight

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre has announced that MBZ-SAT, which is the most advanced satellite in the region is scheduled to be launched later tonight. With a 27-minute window opening at 10:49 PM UAE time, this will be launched from the space launch complex at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. It will be launched aboard the Space X Falcon 9 rocket.
