Soon, Rajasthan To Get Two New Vande Bharat Trains, Check Routes & Travel Time

Indian Railways is all set to improve connectivity in the country by adding two Vande Bharat trains in Rajasthan under North Western Railways (NWR). The first will travel from Bikaner to Delhi with stoppages at Churu, Ratangarh, and Loharu. The second one will connect Jaipur with Jodhpur via Ajmer. The additional trains will cut the travel time for travellers while bringing down trip lengths.

Indian Railways To Launch Two New Vande Bharat Trains In Rajasthan

With a direct route between Delhi and Bikaner, the Rajasthan Vande Bharat trains will significantly reduce travel time. According to the schedule, the train is expected to depart Bikaner at 5:55 am and reach Delhi by 12:15 pm. On the return journey, it will depart Delhi at 4:30 pm and arrive in Bikaner at 10:50 pm. A top NWR official said the train would cut the travel time to 6 hours and 20 minutes, shortening the journey by almost 90 minutes, as per a report published by Times of India.

The second Vande Bharat train will be launched between Rajasthan’s Jaipur and Jodhpur. Officials are weighing two alternatives: a Jaipur-Jodhpur service or a route from Jodhpur to New Delhi through Jaipur. The proposal is currently in the advanced planning stage, and the specifics will be confirmed soon.

According to Times of India, Captain Shashi Kiran, NWR’s Chief Public Relations Officer, assured that the railway authorities are making efforts to improve connectivity for passengers. He further stated that the launch of these two Vande Bharat trains is pending approval from the railway ministry.

Scaling Up Vande Bharat Services

Currently, a few Vande Bharat trains run in Rajasthan on the Jaipur-Udaipur, Ajmer-Delhi via Jaipur, Bhagat Ki Kothi-Sabarmati, and Udaipur-Agra Cantt routes. The inclusion of the new trains will provide consumers with faster and more convenient travel options.

With these future advancements, Indian Railways continues its modernisation of train travel with efficient and high-speed connections to major Rajasthan cities.
