IRCTC Launched A Package For Arunachal Pradesh

  • This unique package introduced by IRCTC is named ‘Arunachal Expedition By Rail Ex-NJP’.
  • This holiday of 8 days and 7 nights will begin from New Jalpaiguri Junction railway station.
  • Tourists will reach the state by rail and explore the surroundings by road.
  • This IRCTC package to visit Arunachal Pradesh is available every Friday starting from November 8, 2024, to March 28, 2025.

This package includes round-trip Vande Bharat Express tickets for all travellers. Comfortable hotels will be provided too. Only breakfast and dinner are included. Lunch will be at every visitor’s expense. Any kind of transportation needed for sightseeing will be a part of the package excluding activities or any specific excursion at touristy locations.

This travel package for Arunachal Pradesh by IRCTC starts at ₹34,310 per traveller selecting triple occupancy. It costs ₹36,740 for each tourist when they choose double occupancy. Lastly, the most expensive package is ₹48,280 for every visitor booking single occupancy.

Where Will Visitors Travel To?

  • Staring a journey from New Jalpaiguri Junction railway station, tourists will deboard at Guwahati railway station and travel to Tezpur/Kaziranga for an overnight stay on day 1.
  • On the next morning, they will travel to Dirang. While reaching the village in Arunachal Pradesh, they will explore the Hot Water Spring and Tippi Orchid Centre on the way.
  • Travellers will begin their journey to Tawang on day 3. En route, they will spend time visiting the snowy Sella Pass and Jaswant Garh War Memorial.
  • Visitors will spend the next two days witnessing the magnificence of Tawang. The itinerary includes Golden Namgyal Lhatse, Sangestar Lake, and Bum La Pass.
  • On day 6, they will return to Dirang for an overnight stay.
  • The second last day of the vacation will be for driving to Guwahati and preparing to return home the next day.
  • On day 8, travellers will be transferred to Guwahati railway station to board Vande Bharat Express and reach New Jalpaiguri Junction railway station.
