In Sikhism, the Panj Takhts (five thrones) are the five gurudwaras that have a very special significance for the Sikh community. While three of them are located in Punjab, the other two are located outside the state. Now, IRCTC has launched a new Bharat Gaurav travel package to help devotees explore these two Takhts and here’s all you need to know about it.
IRCTC Launches Guru Kirpa Yatra Travel Package
Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, and Akal Takht Sahib are all located in Punjab. On the other hand, Takhat Shri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib and Takhat Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib are located in Bihar and Maharashtra, respectively. IRCTC has unveiled Guru Kirpa Yatra, a golden opportunity for people to witness the peaceful ambience that resides in these two states.

The journey will commence on March 16, 2025, from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai. According to the IRCTC website, this five-night and the six-day journey will cost you about ₹13,350/per person for Economy (SL). If you want to travel in 3AC, then the package will cost you ₹26,430 and for 2AC, the package cost will be ₹33,550. The package will include train travel, basic onboard and off-board meals, accommodation, and internal commutes.

All About The Trip’s Itinerary
The Guru Kirpa Yatra Bharat Gaurav travel package will cover Nanded Sahib and Patna Sahib. Boarding and de-boarding for this journey will take place at Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Nasik, and Manmad. This is what the itinerary will look like –
- March 16: Departure by train from CSMT, Mumbai.
- March 17: Arrive at Hazur Sahib Nanded Railway Station and visit toTakhat Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib.
- March 18: After breakfast, depart towards Patna Sahib (overnight journey).
- March 19: Arrive at Patna Sahib Railway Station and visit Takhat Shri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib.
- March 20: After breakfast, depart to Mumbai (overnight journey).
- March 21: Arrival at CSMT, Mumbai.
