Surat Station Platform To Go Under Redevelopment; Check Affected Trains And Their Revised Schedule

Part of the Surat station in the Indian state of Gujarat is undergoing redevelopment. The redevelopment is taking place at platform number 4 of Surat Station. Owing to this redevelopment, some trains and their schedules will be affected. This was announced recently in a post shared on Instagram by the handle of Western Railway or WR. Here are all of the important details that you would need to know about this temporary change at the Surat Station. 

Surat Station Platform To Go Under Redevelopment From Today

According to a post recently shared by the Instagram handle of the WR, this is phase 1 of this station redevelopment work. The post specifies that the redevelopment is connected to concourse work.

The post says that the work will commence today June 10, 2024, and will end on September 7, 2024. During this time, the terminal for a few of the departing and arriving trains will change. Instead of Surat, a few trains have been moved to the Udhna Station.

Only the trains to and from Maharashtra will be affected by this redevelopment work. The post also lists out all the trains which will be affected.
