In this collaboration episode of The Bombay Journey x Sunday Brunch, Mashable India’s Siddharth Aalambayan and Curly Tales’s Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, were joined by Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati, and Suhail Nayyar. They star together in their new OTT series, Jee Karda. The Sunday Brunch-ing section of the video was at the iconic SodaBottleOpenerWala. We ordered good Parsi food, and our guests proceeded to eat with their hands and not spoons. Read on to learn more about it!
Tamannaah Bhatia Eats Food With Her Hands
Kamiya noticed that all three of our guests were enjoying and eating Parsi food with their hands in front of the camera. She couldn’t help but say out loud, “Kitna acha lag raha hai na to see our celebrities eat food with their hands” while she was the one who was using a spoon. Kamiya told everyone that she didn’t wash her hands so she took the spoon.
Then she went on to question if they all prefer to savour food with their hands. Tamannaah Bhatia replied that she doesn’t know how to eat without her hands. She told us she will always be that person who indulges in food with her hands just like she was doing in the video. After this, Siddharth mentioned that it is only right that you dig in with your hands on a plate full of biryani. The feeling of relishing biryani with hands is a different emotion altogether. Who all agrees?

Tamannaah Bhatia relished her massive vada pav, a long mirchi (which she can eat just like the character of Aishwarya Rai did in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam) and berry pulao with her hands and it is a rather good sight to see celebrities being humble on screen. It was not like they discussed but even Aashim Gulati and Suhail Nayyar were eating with their hands.
Currently, She Is A Vegetarian
While we were on the topic of food, we got to know that Tamannaah Bhatia is a vegetarian. Although she has a strong desire for non-vegetarian food, she resists the urge. We could see that from her emotions in the video. When Kamiya discovered her peculiar and erratic eating patterns of jumping from vegetarian to non-vegetarian, she inquired, “Why? Do phases exist? She replied in the affirmative because her body’s reaction to vegetarian food and energy output is greater than when she eats non-vegetarian food.
“I kind of work with how I am feeling,” Tamannaah Bhatia continued. When she follows her body’s instructions and eats vegetarian food, her body performs better. It’s always preferable to be aware of your body’s desires and to take appropriate steps to be aware of what your body craves. At the end of the day, she is an extreme foodie and enjoys relishing food, whether it’s in Delhi or Mumbai food and Parsi or Sindhi food.
