Tamannaah: My Parents Travelled With Me For The First 9 Years Of My Career & I’m Very Thankful

The incredible stars of Jee Karda, Tamannaah Bhatia, Aashim Gulati and Suhail Nayyar joined Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, of Curly Tales and Mashable India’s Siddharth Aalambayan on this episode of The Bombay Journey x Sunday Brunch. In this episode, Tamannaah Bhatia told us that her parents travelled with her to every little project she did for the first nine years of her career. Despite not being from a film industry background she made a name for herself and she is immensely thankful for her parents and their support.

Tamannaah Bhatia’s Parents Travelled With Her For First 9 Years

First, the journey with Tamannaah Bhatia began while driving around Lower Parel. We jumped from one topic to another when Kamiya pointed out that Tamannaah had started working at the age of 13 and a half or 14 years old. She was curious to know if it was acting Tamannaah wanted to pursue all along, since her childhood days. Not to mention that she also went to a school, Maneckji Cooper Education Trust School in Mumbai, which consisted of actors.

Tamannaah Bhatia replied, “Yeah, I always wanted to be an actor.” Because she chose a career path that demands physical, emotional and mental space a little too much, we also wanted to know if her parents were supportive of her career decision. Her father knew from the beginning that she wanted to be an actor and was always supportive of it. Whereas her mum was a little worried as she cared too much for her baby girl.
