She also mentioned that there is a similar dish in Maharashtrian cuisine called Vangyacha Bharit, which shares a smoky, mashed texture and flavour, similar to Baingan Ka Bharta.

She expressed her love for festivals and how she always associates them with food. According to Tejasswi, each festival has its signature dish: Ganpati means Ukdiche Modak, March means mango, and on Gudi Padwa, they make Shrikand and Bhopala Che Gharge (Pumpkin Puri). Tejasswi happily shared, “Basic and simple, I love it!”
