In another exciting episode of Tere Gully Mein, content creator Kapil Kanpuriya took us around Kanpur’s famous food spots. While we have heard about aloo samosa, paneer samosa, the social media star took us to a famous place in Kanpur which is known for its sweet samosa. While munching on some sweet samosas, Kapil revealed how he got his mother and wife to shoot content with him. Scroll down to know the details.
Kapil Kanpuriya On How He Got His Mother And Wife To Shoot
During our food trail in Kanpur, we reached the famous Pappu Samose Wala, known for its chashni and khoya filled samosa. While we were enjoying our new-found discovery, we asked Kapil about shooting videos with his mother and wife. When questioned if he was initially interested, he admitted he wasn’t. Kapil Kanpuriya further revealed how he got his family to shoot with him. He said, “Main jab wapas aayajob chodke, toh maine bola jo hai yahi ai ab. Do saal hai mere paas nahi hua toh wapas jaa raha hu. Fir mein weekend par aaya bhi nahi karunga. Toh mummy thoda sa sadme mein aagyayi, bola chalo acha. For theatre wala hai yaha pe, mera dost usse bhi workshop karvai toh sab kuch karvake fir maine thoda thoda sa unko integrate ki.”
(“When I came back after quitting my job, I said, ‘This is it, I’m going for it.’ I hadn’t done it for two years, so now I’m going back. I also won’t come on weekends. So my mom was a little shocked, but she said, ‘Alright, fine.’ For the theatre part here, my friend arranged a workshop for them too, so after doing everything, I started integrating them little by little.”
He further continued, “Mujhe pehle se hi that full-fledged hand-free content bana hai jo ki aaj kal milta kamm hai market mein. Masala chahiye logo ko. Hosakta hai 1-2 saal baad jab mein nah banau ‘Office Office’ or Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah type real dekhne aarahe hai ki bhai woh banata tha.”
(“I wanted to make full-fledged hands-free content, which is rare in the market these days. People want some spice. Maybe in 1–2 years, when I don’t make it, they’ll watch shows like Office Office or Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and think, ‘Oh, he used to make this.”)

Rajkumar Chole Bhature In Kanpur
Kapil took us to a decade-old chole bhature spot in Kanpur known as ‘Rajkumar Chole Bhature.’ He said, “Kacheri aaya or chole bhature nahi khae toh khaak kacheri aae.” Apart from chole bhature, the other famous dishes to try in Kanpur are Bachau Lal ki kachori, flying khaste and gobi ke khaste from Pappu bhai, sprouts near Moti Jheel, and Baba ki chai, as recoemmeded by the social media star himself.
