Thailand Digital Nomad Visa: All You Need To Know About It
Thailand has recently announced that it is extending its Digital Nomad Visa Policy. According to an article which was recently published by Travel And Tour World or TTW, this extension will come into effect from June 1, 2024.
As per the new extension, digital nomad visa holders will now be able to stay for a total of 180 days or six months over a period of five years at a time in Thailand. Initially, the visa only allowed the holders to stay in the country for a maximum of 60 days at a time.
After this, the visa holders must leave the country in order to fulfil legal formalities. The specifics of the procedure are yet to be revealed by the officials of the country. However, it is speculated that prospective applicants will either have to apply through the Thai Embassy or through the official website.

If reports are to go by, this announcement was made last week on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Thailand’s natural beauty, relatively affordable living and excellent service industry make it a premier destination for those looking for digital nomad opportunities.
