Recently, Brand Dubai launched the 11th edition of the Flag Garden at Jumeirah Beach, Umm Suqeim 2. In fact, this garden is open to the public till January 10, 2025. Organised under the umbrella of ZayedAndRashid Campaign, this edition of the Flag Day features a massive portrait of the founding fathers of the country. Yes, featuring Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the portrait is made of 11,600 flags.
The aerial portraits formed of the two leaders honour their significant contribution towards the remarkable development of the country. In fact, the garden is the largest ever organised by the brand Dubai as it is 75 m in length and 104 m in height.

It’s worth mentioning that Flag Garden 2024 coincides with the UAE Flag Day, which was celebrated on November 3. It also coincides with Eid Al Etihad, which will be celebrated on December 2. In case you’re wondering, Dubai recently launched ZayedAndRashid Campaign, which would basically mean a month-long celebration that would commemorate national occasions in the nation. The unique series of events that would be organised under the umbrella of the campaign aims to create a memorable experience for the people in the emirate.
A series of special events at key cultural destinations like the exploration of the Hatta Heritage Village, diverse activities at the Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, and cultural experiences at the Al Shindagha Museum, which is the largest open-air heritage museum, have been organised.
