Vikas Khanna’s Favourite Chefs Are
Vikas is one of the most down-to-earth personalities we have ever met on our show. We chatted endlessly about food, Amritsar, his Michelin-star restaurants and more. Kamiya was curious to know who his favourite chefs were and asked him the same. He replied, “Sanjeev (Kapoor) ji, meri jaan hai aur Ashish Kumar, mera joh chef hai Kinara mein.”
Kinara is a restaurant in Dubai by Vikas. It is famous for serving authentic Indian dishes with a modern twist. He continued speaking about how Ashish is grounded and speaks his mind no matter what. Vikas added that he absolutely loves and adores him. Dubai folks, have you indulged in a gastronomical affair at Vikas’s Kinara?

We Have Already Planned Our Next Tere Gully Mein With Chef!
There was a section in this video where Vikas gave us excellent Amritsar food recommendations at lightning speed, that too in detail. Hence, we were profusely salivating! Next, Kamiya suggested shooting another Tere Gully Mein episode with him in his hometown, Amritsar.
“Ek choti si problem hai,” our guest replied and we were a little surprised to hear this. He shared that whenever he is back in India, he ends up over-committing to things and people. In return, it breaks his heart when he can’t accomplish those activities.
But he didn’t leave us hanging and told us, “Inshallah!” We adore a man who sets boundaries and abides by them and yes, Inshallah, Chef!
