It wasn’t too long ago when we told you about how you might soon be able to take a dip in the cooling waters of Dubai beaches at night. And now, the day is here as Dubai has finally opened three new beaches for night swimming. The Dubai municipality has expanded its Beach tourism offering around-the-clock swimming for tourists and residents, alike. Here’s all you need to know about this beach-yy development.

Three Dubai Beaches Open At Night

As mentioned above, the Dubai Municipality has opened three new beaches for night swimming. The beaches that are now open at night include Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, and Umm Suqeim 1. As mentioned in a report by Dubai Media Office, the 800 metres long night swimming beaches boast a fantastic lighting system, which allows people to swim at the beach no matter what hour of the day. Not to mention, electronic screens also display content, which aims to increase safety and awareness amongst people on the beach.

As it happens, the municipality has also developed many new facilities to improve this experience for those who are going to the beach. It includes a better lighting system and electronic screens, which allow them to swim securely around the clock. Not to mention, there are also qualified lifeguards outfitted with state-of-the-art rescue & emergency instruments stationed there so that people are safe. Not to mention, according to the municipality statement, the timeline for night swimming and beaches will be from sunset to sunrise.
